DRDO MTS Exam: Defence research and development organization (DRDO) has declared a notice to submit the DRDO MTS exam date till any additional notice. DRDO shall declare the latest dates on basis of the prevailing condition of COVID-19 and the guidelines mentioned by the government. The DRDO had released 1817 vacancies for recruitment of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) in several offices across the country @drdo.gov.in.
The DRDO is one of the significant organizations of India, under the Ministry of Defence. Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) one of the posts, falls under General Central Service Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted, Ministerial post inside the Pay Matrix Level-1 (Rs 18000-56900) as per 7th CPC.

Candidates in huge numbers have applied for the DRDO MTS Exam 2019-20. The process of selection will comprise of Tier–I & Tier-II. Both the exams shall be a Computer Based Test (CBT). Tier I will be the screening round while Tier II shall be held for the final selection. The candidates are examining for the exam date as to when will the DRDO MTS Exam 2020 takes place.

DRDO MTS |Selection Process
The DRDO MTS Exam shall be conducted in two tiers.
- Computer Based Test (CBT), For Screening Purpose
- CBT (Final Selection)
Tier I shall be used for the screening of candidates not eligible to appear in stage II. There will be normalization of marks in DRDO MTS Tier I (CBT).
The marks held by the candidates in Tier-II will be taken for consideration for final selection or for merit purpose. DRDO MTS Tier I and Tier II might be computer-based and will consist of Objective Questions.

The Exam Pattern of DRDO MTS is varied from the exam . The selection process for DRDO MTS Exam will comprise of Tier–I and Tier-II. Both the Tiers will be of 100 marks and 90 minutes each as mentioned below.

Scheme For DRDO MTS Exam :
- The Score of Tier-I (CBT) may be normalized according to the requirement.
- DRDO MTS Tier-I and Tier-II will comprise of objective type multiple choice questions (MCQ’s) only.
- There will be no negative marking for the wrong answers.
- The mode for the examination will be Hindi and English.
- Tier-1examination is for screening purpose and merit list and final selection might be made based on the performance of the candidates in Tier-II.
Qualifying Marks :
The Minimum Qualifying Marks for Tier-1 (CBT) is given below according to the category of the candidates.
General/ESM/OBC Candidates: 40%
SC/ST Candidates: 35%
Based on the Tier-1 (CBT) exam merit list, candidates shall be shortlisted for performing in Tier-2 (CBT) in the ratio of 1:10, i.e., Number of vacancies: Number of shortlisted candidates. Since, candidates need to remember that this ratio might increase or decrease depending upon organizational requirements.
DRDO MTS Syllabus: Tier I & Tier II
Candidates are required to start preparing for the exam in. Below given are the subjects from which the questions will be asked in DRDO MTS CEPTAM 2020 Tier-1 Exam:
General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability
Verbal: Number & Alphabetical Series, Odd one Out, Directions Sense, Words order according to the dictionary, Blood relations, Venn Diagram.
Non-verbal: Paper Folding & Cutting, Mirror Image, Embedded or Complete the Image, Counting Figure.
General Awareness
Questions shall be on basis of candidate’s knowledge of ongoing events and of matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific phases as might be desired of an educated person.
The test shall also comprise questions relating to India and its neighbouring countriesespecially relating to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research, etc.
