Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declared NDA (2) 2019 marks of candidates recommended. Marks are declared on the official website in form of PDF. The marks states details like roll number, name, marks attained in written exam, marks attained in SSB Interview, and overall total marks.
NDA (2) 2019 final result is being declared by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on September 14th . A total of 662 aspirants are selected for admission in the 144th Course of National Defence Academy (NDA) and 106th Course of Indian Naval Academy (INAC).
The candidate’s final selection is been done based on their performance in written exam and Interview of SSB. The medical examination result are not taken into account for preparation of the final result. NDA (2) 2019 has made available final results in PDF format and consists of the roll numbers, ranks and names of candidates finally selected. The shortlisted candidates will join after October 1st , 2020.
NDA 1 and 2 results 2020 for written examination are to be released online by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in month of December. This year, they will conduct a common exam for NDA 1 and 2. Although, NDA 2020 results of exams for both the sessions will be organized distinctly by the commission. Candidates can check the result for both the exams through the official website. NDA result is declared in PDF format and consists of the roll numbers of candidates qualified. All aspirants able to clear the written exam of UPSC NDA 2020 Results will be asked for Service Selection Board (SSB) Interview.

Process to check UPSC NDA Result 2020
Candidates need to follow the steps given below for checking NDA result.
- Go to the official website of UPSC @upsc.gov.in.
- Select the link of result given on home page of UPSC OFFICIAL WEBSITE
- UPSC NDA Result 2020 will open in a new page in form of PDF.
- Candidates need to find their roll numbers and names in the PDF of result through Ctrl+F.
- If candidates roll numbers and names are mentioned in the result PDF, then candidates qualified the exam.
- Result PDF can be downloaded and printout taken.
UPSC NDA 2020 RESULTS: Scorecard
The candidate’s marksheet will be is obtainable from the official website among 15 days from the publication date of NDA final result. Scorecard will be available for downloading for a period of 30 days. Scorecard of NDA will display the mentioned details.

Calculation of scores of candidates
UPSC monitors the scheme of marking while assessing scores of candidates. Scheme of marking of NDA is provided below.
- For General Ability Test (GAT), candidates will get four marks for every correct answers
- For Mathematics section, candidates scores 2.5 marks for correct answers
- 0.33 marks are deducted, for wrong answers.
Formula for calculation of score;
GAT- Number of correct answers x 4 – Number of incorrect answers x 0.33
Mathematics – Number of correct answers x 2.5 – Number of incorrect answers x 0.33
Stages of UPSC NDA 2020 Result
NDA result will be released in two stages. Firstly, result for the written exam will be released that is followed by the final result declaration. Stages of NDA result 2020 are given below.
UPSC NDA Result 2020 : Written Exam
The written exam according to pattern of NDA exam will consist of two sections-GAT and Mathematics. Test will be of total marks of 900. UPSC will prepare list of candidates securing minimum qualifying marks for written exam. Only those candidates will be selected for SSB Interview for Intelligence and Personality Test.
Final Result of NDA 2020:
NDA final result will be declared after completing the SSB Interview. Candidates will be selected for admission to the Army/Navy/Naval Academy and Air Force on basis of their performance in the written exam and SSB Interview. Candidates need to secure minimum qualifying marks separately for both the tests.
After declaration of NDA result:
Candidates Qualified for written exam need to appear for SSB Interview. Exam will be a two-stage procedure based on Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence Test.
All candidates who get selected needs to appear in :
Stage 1. :Only the candidates qualifying Stage 1 are selected for Stage 2. Candidates neeed to submit the original certificates with photocopy of each Original Matriculation pass certificate and certificate of 10+2 pass.
For selection preparation of Merit List
A single joint merit list will be prepared on basis of total marks attained by candidates in the written exam and SSB Interview.
- The allocation/selection finally for admission to the Army, Navy, Air Force of the National Defence Academy and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme of Indian Naval Academy will be done according to number of vacancies in relation to candidates’ eligibility, medical fitness and merit-cum-preference.
- However allocation/selection to one service/course, will not be held for admission to other outstanding services/courses.
NDA Cut off 2020:
The cut off will be declared after completion of the process of recruitment .Cut off will be different for written exam and SSB Interview. For qualifying the exam, candidates are required to secure the cut off marks distinctively in written exam and SSB Interview.
