About UPSC CMS Exam:
UPSC CMS 2020 time table was declared by UPSC on September 18th 2020. Candidates shall download the UPSC CMS Exam time table for checking the schedule of the exam. The UPSC CMS Exam shall be held on October 22,2020 across the nation. Written exam is an objective type held online as a computer-based test.
Lately, UPSC declared notice in relation to the cancellation of some of the applications of CMS 2020 due to non-payment of the application fee. UPSC CMS Exam notification was declared on July 29. Last date for submission of the UPSC CMS application was August 18th 2020. The UPSC CMS Exam Notification for 559 vacancies released under two categories. UPSC CMS Exam Notification is the first official data that will initiate the application process and the candidates shall get twenty days from date of start of the application window for applying for the UPSC CMS Exam.
CMS exam is the name for the Combined Medical Services Exam held by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The CMS exam is held every year for recruiting the candidates for the given positions:

UPSC CMS Exam: Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must have an M.B.B.S degree from a reputed/recognised university. The candidates looking for their final result shall also apply for the CMS exam.
UPSC CMS Exam: Age limit
The candidates must not exceed 32 years of age on August 1 of the exam year. No lower age limit is defined in the official UPSC CMS Exam notification.
The age relaxation is given to the reserved category as follows:

UPSC CMS Exam : Selection Process
Step 1: CMS notification was released on July 29. UPSC shall provide 20 day period to fill the online application form.
Step 2: The candidates shall withdraw application if they change their mind.
Step 3: The UPSC shall provide CMS Exam admit card for the computer-based exam to all the aspirants who had beneficially filled the application form.
Step 4: The UPSC will organize the CMS written exam on October 22, 2020.
Step 5: The candidate who pass the stage I written exam shall be called for the personality test.
Step 6: The UPSC will release the CMS final results within few days after the personality tests.
UPSC CMS Exam : Exam Pattern
The UPSC CMS exam comprise of two stages. First stage is the computer-based exam and the second stage is the personality test.

UPSC CMS Exam: Admit card
Admit card for the computer-based written exam is declared three weeks before the exam. The candidates shall download admit card for CMS written exam by login through their registration number. Admit card for personality test is provided separately.
UPSC CMS Exam: Result
The UPSC shall declare the CMS Exam result within one month of written exam. The result shall be released to select the candidates for the stage of interview. The UPSC will declare result separately for every stage of the exam.
In UPSC CMS exam 2017, total number of application gathered for the 737 vacancies were 39166. Out of 39166 candidates, only 18183 appeared in the exam. A total of 637 candidates were recommended. So ,the qualifying percentage is probably good in the UPSC CMS exam.
