SSC JHT Paper-1 & Paper-2 Syllabus
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts an open competitive Computer Based Examination every year for recruitment of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator and Senior Hindi Translator. The Application Forms for SSC Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) are released and the submission of same can be done starting from 29th June and ending on 25th July 2020. The exam will be held in two stages where Stage 1 will be online examination containing of multiple choice questions( objective type) and will be held on 19th November 2020 whereas Stage 2 will be a Descriptive Test which is going to be held on 31st January 2021.

SOME IMPORTANT POINTS
- Paper-I will comprise of Objective Type (Multiple choice) questions.
- In Paper-I there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each of the wrong answer of the candidate.
- Paper-II must be assessed for those candidates only, who accomplish the minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I as fixed by the commission.
- The Commission may fix qualifying marks in Paper-II at its discretion.

Topics covered under this paper are:
- Two passages for translation- one for translation from Hindi to English and other one for translation from English to Hindi
- Two essays one in Hindi and other in English.
Final Selection of the Aspirants:
Aspirants will be selected on basis of their performance in Paper-I and Paper-II of the examination. Depending upon the merit position of aspirants & the option chosen by them , they will be allocated to user departments.
