Banking industry is the most demanded career opportunity in the country. Each year lakhs of aspirants appear in the several banking exams and among them is IBPS PO. IBPS PO Prelims 2020: Notification
Notification for IBPS PO Prelims 2020 is now available. The notification consists of details like date of exam, vacancies, eligibility criteria, pattern of exam, calculation of score, details in relation to cut off marks, details of reservation category-wise, number of participating banks, etc.
IBPS PO Prelims 2020: Eligibility Criteria
Nationality/Citizenship: Any aspirant who is Indian citizen or subject of Nepal/ Bhutan is capable for appearing in IBPS CWE PO Exam 2020. Candidates who are Tibetan Refugees and migrated to India before January 1, 1962, need to fulfil eligibility criteria. Along with this, people of Indian origin who came from Pakistan/ Sri Lanka/Burma/ Kenya/ Uganda/ the United Republic of Tanzania/ Malawi/Zambia/ Zaire/ Ethiopia/ Vietnam with the purpose of permanently settling in India can also apply for the exam.
Age: Candidates need to be between 20 to 30 years. Age relaxation of five, three and ten years is provided to SC/ ST, OBC (non-creamy layer), and candidates of PwD, respectively.
Educational Qualification needed: To apply for IBPS PO exam graduation is needed.
IBPS PO Prelims 2020: Dates
According to official notice, the preliminary exam will be held on October 3rd, 10th and 11th . The mains exam shall be held on November 28th, 2020. Candidates can assess the below given schedule:

IBPS PO 2020: Salary
Salary of PO is more or less the similar in the majority of banks of public sector. The most recent revision of Bank PO’s salary was in Nov 2012, the final contract was signed in May 2015. The revised IBPS PO salary that came into effect from January 1, 2016.Hence, the revised pay scale is 23,700 – (980 x 7) – 30,560 – (1145 x 2) – 32,850 – (1310 x 7)-42,020. The revised basic pay of Bank PO is Rs 23,700.

IBPS PO 2020: Process of Selection Process

Filling the application form
Aspirants need to fill online form for IBPS PO on the official website. The application fee is Rs 175 for SC/ST/PWBD candidates and it is Rs 850 for all others.
Admit Card release
Admit Card is declared online discretely for prelims, mains and interview. All aspirants can download the admit card uptill the day of the exam by login with registration number/roll number and date of birth/password.
Preliminary exam details
Preliminary exam of IBPS PO is the initial stage of the process of recruitment. As per IBPS PO the preliminary exam consists of three sections. The total marks of the test are 100.
Mains exam
Mains exam of IBPS PO will be held for the candidates shortlisted in the prelims exam. The mains exam consists of four objective tests and one descriptive test. Total marks of the test are 225.
Common Interview
Shortlisted candidates for the online mains exam will be called for the process of common Interview that is held by the participating organizations and co-ordinated by the nodal bank.
Result Declaration
Announcement of IBPS PO 2020 result will be done online on the official website. For checking and downloading the result, candidates need to login with the needed credentials. The scorecard is provided to candidates a few days after the result is declared.
IBPS PO 2020: Analysis of Exam
Analysis of exam analysis will be done just after the exam gets completed. The exam analysis will be done on basis of feedback given by the candidates. To know the level of difficulty of the exam, candidates shall refer to exams conducted last year.
IBPS PO 2019: Analysis of Exam for Prelims
The whole struggle of IBPS PO prelims exam was moderate to difficult. No change were seen in the exam pattern. The questions examined for English Language, Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude were easy to moderate.
IBPS PO 2019: Analysis of Exam for Mains
The complete level of difficulty of the mains exam was moderate to difficult. Reasoning & Computer Aptitude and Quantitative Aptitude were among the toughest sections. English Language section and General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness was easier as compared.
IBPS PO Exam Day Guidelines 2020
- Wear masks, it is compulsory.
- Candidates need to carry hand sanitiser (50ml), pen, gloves and transparent water bottle.
- Aarogya Setu app is mandatory on mobile phones.
- Take IBPS PO admit card along with photo-identity proof.
- Reach the centre of exam according to the slots given on the admit card to avoid overcrowding.
- Take two passport-sized photographs with the admit card.
- Those candidates who reach the exam centre late shall not be allowed for appearing in the exam.
- Any electronic gadgets such as pagers, mobile phones, calculators, pen drive, etc. are not to be taken inside the exam centre
- Stationery items as textbooks, papers, pencil box, scale, writing pad, etc., are not allowed.
