NIACL Assistant exam is held by New India Assurance Company Ltd. for assistant recruitment of of Class III cadre. New India Assurance Company Ltd. is a General Insurance Company leading in public sector, with branches in all the parts of India. In the latest notification, NIACL has invited applications for 685 posts. NIACL AO Recruitment 2020 notification is still to be declared, it is estimated in upcoming months.

NIACL Assistant Exam: Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: A citizen of India or a person of Indian origin.
Age: Minimum and Maximum age limits are 21 and 30, respectively. Relaxation rules in age are useful for candidates of reserved and special category.
Educational Qualification: Candidates having a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university are able to apply for NIACL Assistant Exam 2020. The candidate must have cleared English as one of the subject at SSC/ HSC/ Intermediate/ Graduation level.
Note: Awareness of the regional language of the state, from where candidate is applying is compulsory. They need to have ability to read, write and speak in the stated regional language.
NIACL Assistant Exam: Selection Procedure
NIACL Assistant recruitment is divided in three phases, a candidate needs to qualify all the three phases for having eligibility for orientation to the posts.
Phase I: Preliminary Examination
It is the initial phase of NIACL Assistant Exam selection process. Question paper will be in both English and Hindi, except the section of English language. Candidates are required to pass each section as there will be sectional cutoffs. Phase I is just qualifying in nature. Exam Pattern is given below:

Phase II: Main Examination
All candidates qualifying for Phase I are eligible for Phase II (TierII) or Main Examination. The test will be of 250 marks and the overall duration of the test is 120 minutes. Candidates are required to achieve a minimum total score in the main examination. Main exam is given below:

Note: Total marks attained in the exam shall be relatively reduced to a base of 35 marks.
Regional Language Test:
After clearing/passing Tier II or Main Examination, candidates shall be called for the regional language test. This phase is held for candidate’s writing test, speaking and reading ability. This test will qualify in nature, candidates shall not be provided scores for this section.
