Latest updates on release of hall ticket for NEET 2020, NTA is all set to release the admit card; press release by NTA
After the verdict of Supreme Court on petition filed by students, which demanded to postpone NEET(entrance exam to all medical schools of country) and JEE due to high risk of corona; National Testing Agency (NTA) is prepared to release admit card ,as the petition of students was dismissed by Supreme Court. The court stated that ,’The life must go on and we cannot risk the future of students appearing for the exam .’
Even after the decision of SC a huge number of students along with some social activist , educationist and parents are still on protest because of on going pandemic. Amidst of chaos going on NTA released a notification on Friday which was to inform allotted exam city centers. Approximately all the the students got the center in the city they chose as priority. NTA stated that this notice is freed prior to admit card so that students can mange the convenience.
Also, a notice was released on social media handle of NTA stating that the admit card will be released by last week of August and exam will be conducted on decided date i.e. 13th September,2020. It shows that agency is firm on its decision .
Nearly, 15lakh students will appear for this entrance exam to all medical collages in India. Exam will be conducted in offline pen paper mode in all major cities of country. The final decision is still in the hands of HRD ministry , exams can be further postponed if cabinet rethinks on it considering the views of students.
