OICL AO Exam: Age limit
Age of the candidate shall be considered from July 31st of the year of exam. The stated age limit for the OICL AO exam is below:
Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 30 years
The candidate shall have born not earlier than 1st August 1990 and not later than 31st July 1999(both dates inclusive).

Approx 20 times, of the number of vacancies, aspirants might be qualified for the main exam. The marks of OICL need not be held for final selection.
OICL AO EXAM: Main Exam
OICL main exam is conducted online CBT. This is very crucial stage of the OICL AO EXAM since the final merit is based on these given numbers and the number of interview.
The candidates are required to focus their effort in the OICL main exam. It comprise of two sections – Objective and Descriptive. The objective exam is held of 200 marks and descriptive papers are of 30 marks. Its number shall not be considered for the final selection. It is compulsory for the candidates to be suitable the descriptive paper. The descriptive test will also be held online but be assessed when candidates attain cut-off marks in the Main (Objective) exam.

Negative Marking
Negative marking will be applicable in the OICL AO EXAM. Every question having a wrong answer for that, one-fourth of the marks shall be deducted. It is for the prelims and main exam. No marks shall be deducted for questions where answers are left blank.
OICL Interview
The candidates shall be held for the interview depending upon the marks attained in the main (objective) test. Number of candidates shall be up to three times the number of vacancies provided. The weightage (ratio) of the online examination and interview shall be 80:20 respectively.
Final Result
The OICL Exam final result shall be released on basis of marks secured in the OICL main exam (objective) and the interview.
