Staff Selection Commission-Combined Higher Secondary Level (SSC CHSL) is a national-level level exam organized by SSC every year. The exam is held for recruiting eligible candidates for the given mentioned posts in several ministries/departments/offices of the Government of India.

Note to remember: All posts released by SSC CHSL exam comprise of All India Service Liability (AISL). It reveals that if a candidate is nominated for a post, he/ she may be asked to serve anywhere in the country.

Staff Selection Commission will declare the SSC CHSL 2020-21 notifications and it will be out on November 6th 2020. Candidates shall apply online for SSC CHSL 2020-21 exams latest by December 15th 2020. The SSC CHSL tier-I 2021 exam will be held on April 12-27.

SSC CHSL : 2019-20 Exam Updates

SSC CHSL tier-I 2020 admit card for candidates who shall not be appearing for the paper between March 20 and 28 due to the outbreak of COVID-19. Northern (NR), North Eastern (NER), Karnataka Kerala (KKR), Southern (SR), Eastern (ER), Western (WR)Central (CR)Madhya Pradesh (MPR) and North Western (NWR).  

SSC CHSL tier-I 2020 exam for continuing shifts shall be held from October 12-16, October 19-21 and October 26. The exam shall be organized in multiple shifts at varied test centres across the country. It must be noted that SSC CHSL exam was previously scheduled to be held from March 17-28. The exam got postponed with effect from March 20 because of the outbreak of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).

SSC CHSL: Eligibility 2020-21

The basic measures that candidates require to meet for fulfilling SSC CHSL eligibility 2020-21 are:

  • A candidate shall be either/or a citizen of India, subject of Nepal/Bhutan, Tibetan refugee, person of Indian origin
  • A candidate needs to be aged between 18 and 27 years as on January 1, 2020
  • A candidate must clear class XII or equivalent from a recognised board or university
  • A candidate looking for his/her final class XII exams are also eligible for applying.

SSC CHSL tier-I admit card for all the regions remaining – NR, NER, SR and KKR has been released. Earlier, Admit card of CHSL for ER, WR, NWRCR and NWR regions was released. Candidates shall download the SSC CHSL admit card from the official regional websites of the Commission through their login credentials such as registration ID, roll number and date of birth.

  • Enter the login credentials
  • Download the admit card
